Uses aluminum oxide or silicon carbide particles in a phenolic binder. These wheels are especially formulated to give the ideal cut surface finish for metallographic preparations. The 10"wheels are designated as our special "METCUT" series. This wheel offers less smell, longer life, and less sample burning. CW-031 Metlab resin bonded abrasive cut-off wheels are used on extremely hard ferrous alloys, tool steels, white cast Irons, Nihard, etc. Rc60+.
